PuSH Festival: Coastal Sound Youth Choir performs with Woodpigeon & Salteens

Club PuSH is all about cutting edge performance in a less formal, less traditional space. As PuSH Festival celebrates its 10th year of performance in Vancouver, our Coastal Sound Youth Choir takes the stage with indie rockers as part of the PuSH Festivals’ Marquee Acts at Performance Works on Granville Island.

Not Your average Youth Choir, Coastal Sound Youth Choir takes a creative and unique approach to choral music. For their performance as part of the PuSH festival, they perform with ultra hip Woodpigeon (aka Calgarian Mark Andrew Hamilton) whom the Edmonton Journal has praised for his “heart melting melodies that will swell you with warmth and with love”. The choir and Woodpigeon, backed up by The Salteens, will perform a mix of indie rock, classical, avant-garde choral music, and a set of original Woodpigeon songs.

Two shows: Saturday, January 18, at 7pm (all ages) and 9:30 pm (19+) at Performance Works on Granville Island
